If you love retro games, especially ones involving escaping from a castle dungeon, you’ll want to check out Sparkledye’s latest game Mage in Cage.
The simple storyline is that you are a mage who has been caged up in the castle dungeons by an evil king and you must use your skills to get out of it alive. Your path to freedom is riddled with spikes, traps, and other hidden dangers and you must make use of objects in your environment such as crates and moving platforms to escape the dungeons.
The game has neat 8 bit graphics and classic retro-style music and sounds to accompany gameplay. If you’re looking for a cool casual time killer and have a dollar and a half to spare, do check out Mage in Cage. The download link is right below.
