One of the most popular RPG video games ever is getting the enhanced edition treatment and is simply being called Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition. This is the second time the Baldur’s Gate series is getting an enhanced edition and Baldur’s Gate 2 is getting a lot of added features for this release.
These extra enhanced added features include Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal which is the conclusion to the saga. There are four new party members being added which its worth noting that they come included on the PC and Mac versions but are DLC on the iOS and Android versions. Another chapter called The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay is also being added as well as what they are calling an easy multiplayer mode. Easy in terms of easy to find matches.
Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition is coming out November 15th for PC and Mac with iOS and Android releases to follow but with no official release date. It does seem that features that are coming with the $25 PC and Mac version will be available as in-app purchases for what will either be a free Android title or a rather cheap app purchase.
