Doctor Who is an incredibly popular and long running show, to be exact it has been on for 50 years. To celebrate this 50th year anniversary for Doctor Who, a collaborative initiative by the BBC, Tiny Rebel Games and Seed Studio made and are releasing a free Doctor Who game called Doctor Who Legacy. This was announced a couple days ago with a twitter picture of the TARDIS and the worlds, “Save the Day”.
The actual 50th year anniversary Doctor Who show special is airing on November 23rd and it is rumored Doctor Who Legacy will release for iOS and Android around that time, but no official date is known. In fact very few details are known about Doctor Who Legacy aside from the developers and that it is free-to-play (which could be good or bad). It should also be mentioned that Doctor Who Legacy has no affiliation with the puzzle platformer Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock which has since had its sequels cancelled.
