Dark and Bizarre Point and Click Adventure Fran Bow Seeks Crowdfunding

Enter the deeply dark and disturbing world of Fran Bow. After witnessing the brutal murder of her parents, she runs away into the forest with her only companion, a black cat named Mr. Midnight. She wakes up later to find herself in an overbearing mental institution with no memory of what happened to her and her cat. Intrigued?

Swedish developers Natalia Figueroa and Isak Martinsson of Killmonday team up to produce a five part psychological point-and-click-thriller where the lone child Fran Bow sets out to escape the mental asylum, find her cat, reach her only living relative Aunt Grace and discover her parent’s murderers. Here’s a quick look at some of the key elements of the game.

Key Features: Fran Bow

  • Dark psychological point-and-click thriller
  • Interactive character-driven storyline
  • 5 chapters with mini games and puzzles
  • Different difficulty levels
  • Unique hand-drawn 2D art

With almost two chapters completed, the team is reaching out to fans for crowdfunding the rest of the game development.  They have so far raised over $9400 with 28 days left for reaching their targeted goal of $20,000.

If you are drawn by the dark and creepy theme of the game, are inspired by Natalia’s passionate appeal, or simply hoping to see a multi-platform release (PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone 8) sometime in 2014, share your love on their campaign page and spread the word around.
