If you’ve got a thing for retro styled platformers, Super Cookie Games have got the game for you. Its called BetaMax and it takes you back to the good old SNES and 16bit days where colorful retro graphics and cute characters ruled the day.
In BetaMax you play Max who travels in a candy filled world to save his beloved Min from the evil Mitten and her minions. The game features 21 sweet levels with boss battles, plenty of achievements to unlock and full Facebook integration to show off your scores.
The game’s controls are also pretty straightforward; the left and right arrows are for moving around. A tap on the screen will make Max jump, which is ideal for bouncing on enemies. The game also brings in the three-star concept to unlock new levels, but you’ll have to collect all the candy to do that.
BetaMax is available on the Play Store for the price of free for anyone who is interested.
