Fans of the much loved SEGA games can now enjoy the remastered version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on their Android devices. This endless runner teams up Sonic with his sidekick Miles “Tails” Prower and Knuckles as they run through the beautiful Emerald Hills, Casino Night and Chemical Plant. The high speed levels are packed with enemies and obstacles and of course power ups to help you beat and overcome them.
The remastered version has been built from the ground up with fresh new audio and graphics plus tons of new content. The visuals have been polished and the 60 frames per second gameplay should make the game a lot more enjoyable on widescreen devices.
Coming exclusively to the game is a Boss Attack mode where you can play as Sonic, Tails, or Kniuckles and take on Dr. Eggman and all the game’s bosses in one extremely challenging run. Also for the first time, the never-been seen before Hidden Palace Zone is revealed. This level was supposed to be included in the original Genesis version of the game but never made it to the cut. That’s all changing now as the Hidden Palace Zone is now available on the mobile platform. This unique zone features new enemies and dangers and a mega showdown with Dr. Eggman.
