Tengu Games Make Their Android Debut with Turn Based RPG, Elementalist

Tengu Games, a small indie game studio in the Netherlands has just launched their first turn based RPG game on Android called Elementalist.

The game is set in a magical world where the forces of evil are spreading their wings and threatening to destroy the balance of the Universe. The fate of all mankind rests in your hands. Literally.

The main gameplay revolves around defeating enemies by casting spells. In a unique twist to spell casting, the developers have devised a mechanism where you need to draw specific gestures on the screen. Each type of spell is represented by a unique design and the game’s guide, an old mage initially teaches you how to draw the spells and attack the soldiers of darkness.

A thin storyline has you running turn based missions and snuffing out enemies. As you progress through the game, you learn new spells and engage in more powerful missions. The game has a neat list of spells ranging from ice shards and fire arrows to windcuts shards and thunderstrikes. You will earn gold coins and XP points for your good work, which can be used to upgrade your spells, scrolls, weapons and even hire assistants to help you out.

If magical spells fascinate you, go ahead and check out Elementalist. Its available now on the Play Store for the price of free.
